That was one of my biggest reflections after Monday night’s PMI Atlanta Chapter Dinner Meeting.

The room was sold out.
The energy was high.
The satisfaction reviews came in above 90%.
And the message from attendees was clear:

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮.

Noel Ransom Washington’s keynote, “You’re Doing the Work… So Why Aren’t You Moving?”, struck a chord because it spoke directly to something many project professionals quietly wrestle with:

You can be certified.
You can be capable.
You can be doing excellent work.
You can be delivering results.

And still wonder why your career is not moving the way you expected.

The problem is that hard work alone is not always visible work.

Certification is not the same as strategy.
Experience is not the same as visibility.
Execution is not the same as influence.

That message landed because it was honest, practical, and timely.

That is why PMI Atlanta matters.

PMI Atlanta is not just a place to earn PDUs or attend events. It is a professional growth ecosystem where project managers, agile professionals, consultants, business leaders, and career changers can build relationships, gain exposure, serve through volunteer leadership, and have the kinds of conversations that create momentum.

Tip for the next 90 days:

Choose one growth move.

Join one PMI Atlanta activity beyond your usual routine.
Start one intentional conversation.
Explore one volunteer opportunity.
Make your value more visible.
Clarify the next level you are preparing for.

Because career growth is rarely driven by credentials alone.

It is driven by visibility, relationships, community, and intentional growth.
