This Friday, CCF will be a Lean Coffee session with Coach Nelson
This is a community-led conversation, which means the topics come from the people in the room.
You can bring a question, a challenge, a thought, or something you’ve been trying to figure out. The group will vote on what feels most useful, and Coach Nelson will guide the conversation from there.
It could be about:
- Career clarity
- Job search pressure
- Agile topics
- Workplace challenges
- Leadership growth
- Confidence
- Visibility
- Communication
- Your next professional step
Lean Coffee gives us structure, but the conversation stays connected to what people are actually facing.
There will also be a raffle draw during the session, and one lucky attendee will be selected for a special prize.

Another exciting CCF call in the books!
Today we tackled some powerful topics: the impact of role models, the necessity of diverse mentors, and the practical integration of faith with financial and professional success. We shared stories about the people who inspired us (like Myles Munroe!) and how they shaped our understanding of stewardship.
The biggest takeaway?
It’s not that we have to split our work life and being a Jesus follower; we are one and the same person both at work and at home! We established that believers must balance spiritual conviction with high-quality professional competence, and that wealth is a powerful tool for effective ministry and blessing others.
Shoutout and a huge thank you to Michael for today’s special gift! He bought 3 tables at the upcoming CBMC September 9th breakfast and blessed the group with seats so the men could join in on those great connections and conversations.
