Matthew 5:7 — Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Where do you find it most challenging to extend mercy in everyday life?
A) Driving / Traffic
B) Online / Social Media
C) Workplace / Colleagues
D) Family / Daily routines
For me, it’s D. The closeness, pattern recognition, lowered filters and expectations at home, makes it very difficult to extend mercy.
I pray that God gives me a merciful heart to let that sharp comment slide, drop an argument without thinking who gets the last say, respond with love when my son is irritable.

Family can truly test mercy in the smallest moments, but it is beautiful when we keep asking God for the grace to respond with love instead of reacting from familiarity.
