• Sermon on the Mount - Day 7

Matthew 5:9 — Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

In one word, what virtue is most needed to build a bridge toward peace when opinions clash?

For me, it’s Kindness—more than patience or honesty, kindness transforms our hearts from wanting to attack toward wanting to understand.

      • For me, it’s empathy. When opinions clash, trying to understand where the other person is coming from can lower defensiveness and make room for a more peaceful conversation.

        • Kindness is such a beautiful answer, because peace often begins when we choose to understand before we respond.
