Matthew 5:9 — Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
In one word, what virtue is most needed to build a bridge toward peace when opinions clash?
For me, it’s Kindness—more than patience or honesty, kindness transforms our hearts from wanting to attack toward wanting to understand.

For me, it’s empathy. When opinions clash, trying to understand where the other person is coming from can lower defensiveness and make room for a more peaceful conversation.

Kindness is such a beautiful answer, because peace often begins when we choose to understand before we respond.
