The "I’m Not a Techie" Lie.
Stop saying you aren’t “tech-savvy.” In 2026, that’s just a polite way of telling yourself you have to work harder than everyone else.
If you can send a message, give directions to a driver, or explain to a cook how you want your eggs—you already have every skill you need to win with AI.
The “AI Gap” isn’t about coding or math. It’s about Communication.
Most people in our community are paralyzed because they think they need a degree to save an hour a day. They don’t. You just need to stop treating AI like a “Google search” and start treating it like a smart, eager intern who is waiting for your instructions.
At Simply Agile, we’ve seen it happen over and over:
- The manager who hated computers now uses AI to turn a messy 1-hour meeting into a 1-page plan.
- The business owner who was “bad at writing” now sends professional proposals in 30 seconds.
AI isn’t here to replace your brain; it’s here to replace the “busy work” that keeps you from using your brain. You aren’t “behind.” You’re just one conversation away from getting your evenings back.
Stop “searching.” Start Tasking.
Today, pick one task you dread. Open any AI tool and say:
“I am a [Your Job Title]. I need to do [Task] and it usually takes me too long. Ask me 3 questions so you can do the first draft for me.”
What’s the one “dreaded task” sitting on your desk right now? Drop it in the comments, and let’s see if the community can help you automate it before lunch. 👇

Victor Okwara and Tolu Ojewunmi1 CommentIt’s not about becoming “technical.” It’s about becoming clearer in how you think and communicate.
The moment you stop asking AI vague questions and start giving it structured tasks, everything changes. What used to take hours becomes something you can move through in minutes.
For me, one task that used to drag was turning scattered ideas into structured content. Once I started treating AI like a collaborator instead of a search tool, it became a lot easier to get from idea to execution quickly.
More people need to realize this: the advantage isn’t skill, it’s clarity.
